Tree Garden is located in the core zone of Taiwan Peasant Entrepreneurship Park
in Shilin County, covering over 3,000 mu. In its central area there is Black
Stone Forest covering 800 meters long and 30 to 80 meters wide and presenting a
state of stone forest with strange and graceful stones. According to legend,
this piece of stone forest was created by the Eight Immortals during a magical
power competition, therefore vivid Tieguaili
Stone, Donkey Stone, Finger Stone, Basket Stone, Vertical Bamboo Flute Stone,
and Jade Belt Peak, etc. could be found in the forest; another legend is that Pharmacist
Buddha Apodoromi used to appear in the dream of Agumusi, leader of Yi ethic
group, instructing him to learn medical knowledge and help people, therefore
thousands of herbal medicines are scattered in the stone forest, attracting
bird singing and flower fragrance to become a rare “fairyland” in Ancient Dian
Kingdom.
Apricot
Tree Garden is a comprehensive project that is built on the background of
herbal medicine culture with Yunnan characters and on Stone Forest the famous
scenic tourist area in Yunnan Province, integrating herbal medical culture
display and tourism with Black Stone Forest as landscape foundation and
building four major functional zones around it. The project plan of Apricot
Tree Garden is divided into six major parts: 1. agricultural high-tech
demonstration zone; 2. Chinese medicine culture exhibition zone; 3. outdoor
sports & development zone; 4. hot spring health recreation zone;
5.commercial zone of old town; and 6. Health recreation & retirement resorts.
With
display and popularization of Chinese medicine culture as goal, tourism and
leisure as the carrier, and promotion of Chinese medicine culture inheritance
as content, Apricot Tree Garden interacts these three aspects to build a
new cultural tourism resort with unique
characteristics for visitors to

Yunyanyinxiang Tobacco Manor
Stone
Forest Park of Yunyanyinxiang Tobacco Manor of Hongyunhonghe Group, located in
Stone Forest Scenic Area, has been officially open since July 18. Stone Forest
Park of Yunyanyinxiang Tobacco Manor covers 2,300 mu, of which 1200 mu is for
green tobacco leaves, 600 mu is for plant perfume materials, having superior
natural conditions.
At
present, among Stone Forest Park, Honghe Park, Qujing Park, Tengchong Park and
Weishan Park of Yunyanyinxiang Tobacco Manor, Stone Forest Park has already
been completed, and the other four have had site selection for planning and
implementation.

Ecological
advantage: Stone Forest Park has similar elevation to that of Zimbabwe,
favorable climatic conditions, and superior ecological environment for tobacco

Rhino Park (Shilin Longhui Wild Animal
Research Center)

Wild Animal Research Center is one of the projects in Taiwan Peasant
Entrepreneurship Park in Shilin County, aiming at research on the ex situ
conservation of endangered rare wild animals and accumulating experience for
that, saving endangered rare wild animals, and achieving sustainable use of
them so that wildlife research in the featured tourism resources of endangered
wild animals will become another new highlight for Stone Forest.
Shilin
Longhui Wild Animal Research Center, founded on November 13, 2009, is a
comprehensive investment and development project integrating breeding,
scientific research, tourism and investigation of rare wild animals such as
rhino and Siberian tiger. After three years of construction, the first phase of
the project has taken shape with 13 wild animal farms (plants)and 10 animal
sports fields, keeping 81 African white rhinos breeding (7 of which were bred
in Shilin) and having introduced 3 giraffes and 4 zebras with the economic
value of animals of about RMB 1.7 billion. Under the joint efforts of Shilin
County and Longhui Group, this project is expected to become a research base
for the featured tourism resources of endangered wild animals.
Jinyuan Flower
Shilin
Jinyuan Flower Industrial Park is located in the Flower Industry Park of Taiwan
Peasant Entrepreneurship Park in Shilin County, Yunnan Province. It is invested
and constructed since December 2008 by Kunming Jinyuan Flower Industry Co.,
Ltd. with total investment of RMB 700 million, construction period of 5 years.
The construction scale is 10,000 mu, including 3,000 mu for core area and 7,000
mu for production consisting of eight zones (International Flower Zone,
Domestic Flower Zone, College Student Entrepreneurship Zone, Central Business
Conference Zone, Folk Culture Exhibition Zone, Flower and Ecological Wetland
Landscape Zone, New Rural Construction Zone, and Ecological Sports and Leisure
Resort Zone) and one center (Reception Center), focusing on creating a modern
flower industry cluster that integrates flower seedling breeding, production,
display, post-harvest processing, packaging, facility agriculture, agricultural
resources, logistics, research and development, eco-tourism, sports and
leisure, folk customs and culture, and commercial exhibitions.
Inside
the park, 23 varieties are of independent intellectual property rights; 207
rose varieties, 71 gerbera varieties, and 28 carnation varieties are introduced
from foreign countries. The park has also signed development cooperation agreements
with Kirin Company (Japan), Delbard Company (France), Chinese Academy of
Agricultural Sciences, and Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In 2011,
the park planted 14.64 million plants of flowers including carnation, gerbera,
rose, hydrangea, lisianthus, and lily, etc. and produced more than 200,000
fresh cut flowers daily, achieving sales revenue of RMB 53.7 million and net
profit of RMB 17 million. In 2012, the park completed the pilot project of
agricultural internet of things, achieving remote monitoring and management of
production and planting.
The
company has been adhering to equal attention to scientific development and
local economic and social development. Since settlement in 2008, it has
organized surrounding people to have three training sessions on gardening and
flower skills, helping 406 local rural laborers to obtain national vocational
and technical qualification certificates and achieve stable employment nearby;
it has also influenced 934 households of surrounding ethnic areas for flower
planting, promoting the optimization and adjustment of agricultural industrial
structure.
