Apricot Tree Garden, located in the core area of Taiwan Peasant Entrepreneurship Park in Shilin County, is invested, developed, and constructed by Kunming Xinglindaguanyuan Tourism Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kunming Shenghuo Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. The “Apricot Tree Garden” project takes display and popularization of traditional Chinese medicine culture as orientation and tourism and leisure as the carrier, integrating tourism, medical health maintenance, commercial trade, and green agriculture. The project covers an area of more than 3,000 mu and is planned to invest RMB 2.5 billion, including 6 major parts: Chinese medicine culture display, ancient town, pension and health maintenance, gardening landscape, agricultural high-tech demonstration zone, and breeding of animals as medicine and food.

Yinghuayu

Yinghuayu Medical Ecological Park follows the five-star standards to introduce conference, catering, leisure, entertainment, sightseeing and other programs, aiming to build a multi-integrated comprehensive garden resort. The whole park is elegant and stylish with cultural and classical charm, being a good leisure place for tourists.

The unique herbal cuisine of Yinghuayu Herbal Cuisine Restaurant has very high requirements for ingredients. All ingredients used are natural and non-polluting organic food planted or bred in Apricot Tree Garden. The animals here are mostly conditioned with herbal medicines like Panax notoginseng dregs, corn, rice bran, and soybean meal. Livestock and poultry bred in this way are high in protein and low in fat and cholesterol, thus becoming good meat for herbal cuisine and high-end catering. For herbal medicine selection, young crops of Ligusticum chuanxiong, isatis root, Eleutherococcus senticosus, and Lycium, etc. are often used to keep the original effective medicine and the taste of herbal cuisine, avoiding the disadvantage of unfavorable taste so that customers can obtain beauty and health while enjoying the food.

Xinglin Zen Temple

Xinglin Zen Temple is a temple integrating Chinese medical culture with Buddhism, Taoism and Confucian thoughts. It is actually the first memorial hall for Chinese medication masters in China, the first in the industry.

Its difference from other temple is that 22 antique-looking buildings are built in this temple, including the Great Buddha's Hal, Pharmacist Hall, Yellow Emperor Hall, Medical Saint Hall, Master Pharmacist Pavilion, Depository of Sutras, and Treasure Pavilion, etc. together with more than 180 sculptures of Medical god, Buddha, and masters - recording their achievements. It selects 24 doctors and pharmacists in Chinese history for worship in the temple, use traditional ways to commemorate industrial pioneers, and inherit and promote Chinese medical culture. This is a new cultural tourist attraction with unique characteristics of Yunnan to help with comprehensive understanding of traditional Chinese medicine culture and Buddhist culture.

Black Stone Forest

Black Stone Forest is located in the core area of Apricot Tree Garden, covering 180 mu with over 30 scenic spots. Belonging to typical karst landscape, it has dolines and stone pillars scattered with different shapes, styles, and patterns. Compared with Major Stone Forest and Naigu Stone Forest, stones here have a different style, especially their profound, interesting and fascinating historical allusions.

Ashima Love Song Square

Ashima Love Song Square covers 15 mu, including large-scale stone sculpture, rockery, and over 20 sculptures. As the main venue for large-scale cultural gala, campfire parties and other activities, outdoor barbecue is also served when you enjoy the performance here.

Agricultural high-tech experience zone

The agricultural high-tech demonstration & experience zone of Apricot Tree Garden is divided into four parts: research on rare herb breeding, three-dimensional cultivation of Panax notoginseng, ecological animal breeding, and green ecological agriculture sightseeing & experience. Bama local pig, donkey, sika deer, Scottish pony, rabbit, chicken and other animals in the animal breeding zone are very popular among tourists.
