On June 7, totally more than 90 reporters from the media of ten countries of Southeast Asia and South Asia including Pakistan, Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos as well as the media from the Central Government, provinces and cities visited Stone Forest Scenic Area to explore and Sani culture of Yi ethnic group and study the characteristic city farmstead.

On the day, the interview group successively visited Stone Forest Scenic Area, Bi’s Needlework Plant and Wanjiahuan Manor. On the way, the reporters recorded the featured tourism elements and ethnic culture of Stone Forest with their camera lens or in words. With the help of interpreters, some media interviewed some tourists and communicated with tourists on their experience and feelings about traveling to Stone Forest.

It is learned that with the visit of media from Southeast Asia and South Asia as well as the Central Government, provinces and cities to Stone Forest, the special human culture and history, natural landscape, folk culture and characteristic manor of Stone Forest may hopefully be overall interpreted through such media to enable more people to understand and recognize Stone Forest.
